Hi Friends!

As you’ll probably discover, I’m not a big fan of TBRs because I can never stick to them. So that’s not exactly what this is. I am under no delusions that I will read ALL of these by the end of the year, but I’m hoping to read at least a couple of them because I’ve been wanting to read them all year.

  • A Girl is a Body of Water by Jennifer Nansuburga Makumbi

  • The Priory by Dorothy Whipple

  • White Teeth by Zadie Smith (I started this one earlier this year and put it down for a while, but I’ve been wanting to pick it back up)

  • Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid

  • City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert

  • You Will Get Through This Night by Daniel Howell

  • The People in the Trees by Hanya Yanigahara

  • You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson

  • The Gifted School by Bruce Holsinger

  • Topics of Conversation by Miranda Popkey

  • Stamped from the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi (I started this last year and have been meaning to finish it since)

  • Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo

  • The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

Have you read any of these? Are any of them must-reads? How about must-misses? Tell me your thoughts below!
