I legitimately cannot comprehend how it is almost the end of April. Like…is it just me, or did this month absolutely fly by?
Most of my reading has been through audiobooks this month, because I’m trying to get into some healthier behaviors - including revisiting my favorite hobbies and starting to exercise. Want to know what pairs well with a stationary bike? An audiobook. Want to know what also pairs well with knitting? Also an audiobook. And I have to say, it’s been a fairly average reading month over all. I’ve loved some books. I’ve liked some books. I’ve felt meh about some books. And I also announced some pretty exciting bookish plans that are on the horizon —keep reading a bit more for that!
But for now - here are my April 2022 stats (so far - there’s still almost a week left, so there may be one or two other books added to my April reads):

Favorite book of April: Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead (can I just say, the Women’s Prize nominees this year are ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE…if The Final Revival of Opal & Nev is not my favorite finished read of the next post, I will be soooooo surprised)
# of Books DNF’d (at least for now): 0
And how about those May plans?
Well, if you follow my Instagram, you may already be aware that I am going to be hosting monthly readalongs of books that are on my TBR and also seem to be fan favorites. And the inaugural book is…My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh. My hope is that folks who choose to read along (or who have already read the monthly books) will join in on the conversation that will be posted right here on the Little Literary Moments blog at the end of each month. And since My Year of Rest and Relaxation seems to be quite the controversial read, I’m sure the conversation will be great.
So far, that’s really the only concrete plan I have for May - BUT I’M SO EXCITED ABOUT IT THAT I DON’T THINK I NEED ANY OTHER PLANS!!!
